When we kick back and watch mainstream movies or martial arts films, we’re often amazing by what these stars and stuntmen can actually do!
It’s definitely an art form in itself with a tonne of danger, as many are regularly injured and some even dying on a film set for their craft (not on purpose).
Well, some stunts are awesome, and some a bit…yuck.
I stumbled upon a series where real stuntmen watch films and react and explain what went right and what went wrong with some of the world’s most famous stunt and fight scenes.
It’s called Stuntmen React to Bad & Great Hollywood Stunts, by the Corridor Crew on YouTube.
It’s an ongoing series that seems to be published every few weeks, so I’ve added the first few here to wet your appetite. Enjoy!

I remember when I first saw this I thought it was a great idea! This is the first few videos featuring stuntman Eric Linden.
The forth video below features Stuntman and Actor Gui DaSilva-Greene. This video seems a little more martial arts focused!

Very funny video
Very interesting post! Obviously special effects have improved exponentially since the early martial arts movies, but the the core moves should still hold true. I love watching old films like these on my home theatre surround sound system! A lot of the older ones have been remastered on BluRay which is also awesome.
Man, good sound makes a world of difference, I’m the same. I love a really punchy track that goes with a fight as it sells every strike that more better.
