street fighter Ryu & KenStreet Fighter is one of those game franchises that is very popular in martial arts culture, whether you’re a gamer or not.

Countless movies have been made (we won’t go into them now!) but there’s also been a handful of fan made films also – and they’re awesome!

Many include real, high level martial artists performing their craft, mixed with the video game moves that really sharpen up the action.

Like anything though, there’s some bad stuff out there too,

So, here’s 3 nicely made short films you can watch right now…

Street Fighter: Legacy

This first short film is what brought about the Street Fighter Assassin’s Fist series.

There’s some pretty smooth martial arts from both guys, including Jon Foo from The Protector and the Tekken Live Action Movie. We see a nice match between both Ryu and Ken in this shirt.  It’s very nicely done!

Street Fighter Beginnings End

Like the film above, this short by Thousand Pounds showcases some sparring between Ryu and Ken but is a little higher energy in my opinion.  These guys sure know how to do it!

Street Fighter X Tekken: The Devil Within

This final short film is another by the guys at Thousand Pounds.

The same level of high energy action present in Street Fighter Beginnings End is here but also includes Kazuya from Tekken.  A very cool watch and a fun film.
